Lindsay Ciombor Brislin, D.M.D.
Dr. Brislin grew up in Plainville, Massachusetts where she first recognized and developed her passion for the health care field and dentistry. Spending time with her father Dr. Ronald Ciombor in his dental office grew the desire to pursue dentistry as a career. Patients often comment at how similar her gentle chair side approach is to her father’s. She believes a healthy smile parallels a healthy individual and she does her best to instill this outlook in her patients. Dr. Brislin is a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, Massachusetts where she ran track and played basketball. She went on to the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts and earned a B.S. degree in psychology, with a pre-medical focus.
After college she attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts were she earned her doctorate in medical dentistry, graduating in the top eight percent of her class. This class rank prompted some to encourage her to pursue a dental specialty, however, her desire to work with families and develop long term patient relationships steered her decision to work with her father in his general and family practice. At Tufts University Dr. Brislin was the recipient of the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration award for excellence in clinical practice management. Additionally, she was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which was established to promote and recognize scholarship and character among students of dentistry. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association and the Pawtucket Dental Society. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband Christopher and their children.
Ronald Ciombor, D.D.S.
Dr. Ciombor grew up in Seekonk, Massachusetts and has been practicing dentistry for over thirty five years. Patients comment on his calming chair side manner and keen attention to individual needs. Dr. Ciombor’s combination of patience and experience are one reason why he has built so many long term successful patient relationships. In 2006 his daughter Lindsay joined the practice and as her father noticed her talent and devotion to the field of dentistry. He is quoted as saying “if I had interviewed 100 dentists to be my partner and to care for my patients she would win, hands down.” Dr. Ciombor is also indebted to his loyal and hard working employees who over the years have helped him build his practice. His personal love of the field of dentistry comes from his patients that say to him “thank you, I love my smile!”
A graduate of Saint Raphael Academy in Pawtucket, Rhode Island where he was a star basketball player, he went on to Providence College and received a B.S. degree in biology. Dr. Ciombor then attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry where he received his doctorate in dental surgery. He is active in Georgetown University School of Dentistry alumni gatherings and is a member of the American Dental Association, Rhode Island Dental Association and the Pawtucket Dental Society. When Dr. Ciombor is not at the office he enjoys golfing, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his wife Maureen, two daughters Lindsay and Jaclyn, son Justin, and two grandsons Henry and Cormac.
